What is BCOS?

BCOS (Beacon Certified Open Source) is a free, open-source code verification system that scans repositories for security, license compliance, and quality — then anchors the results on the RustChain blockchain.

7 checks: SPDX licenses, CVE vulnerabilities (OSV), static analysis (Semgrep), SBOM generation, dependency freshness, test evidence, and human review attestation.

3 tiers: L0 Automated (≥40) L1 Agent-reviewed (≥60) L2 Human-signed (≥80)

Unlike proprietary alternatives, BCOS is MIT-licensed. The verification engine, scoring formula, and on-chain proofs are all open and independently verifiable.
